Bearcats News · Wrestlers Stumble In Triangular Meet

The Bearcat Wrestlers lost to, two strong opponents on Friday evening. The triangular meet, held at Lake Catholic, with Kenston, proved to be a difficult matchup for the team.

The Bearcats fall to 3-4 in dual meets this season. Prevailing for the team and coming away with 2 victories on the evening was Tyjuan Hill (Sr.,285lbs). Tyjuan pinned his only opponent of the evening in 31 seconds while receiving a forfeit in the other match. His record now stands at 6-1 with 79 career victories.

The team will travel to Normandy High School next Thursday for a triangular meet with the host Invaders and Brush. Then on Saturday the team will travel to Applecreek, Ohio for the annual Waynedale Duals.
