Meet Recap

The Lady Bearcat Cross Country team opened the season last Wednesday at Akron’s Dick Malloy 3K Invite! Earning the top place for Bedford was junior veteran Malina Mitchell! Freshman Na’ila Vickers was the 2nd fastest runner for the Bearcats as a new high school runner while junior Tamara Jeffries was also able to return to running this season, placing 3rd for the Bearcats. Junior Mariah Davis competed in her first cross country run as well, along with veteran runner Autumn Orr. The girls earned enough points to score as a team this year and will continue to train as the season moves forward. Great job runners!
